The 43rd Annual Midwest Horse Fair is back in Madison, Wisconsin.
The event, running Friday through Sunday at the Alliant Energy Center, will highlight more than 400 exhibitors, more than 30 practitioners and more than 30 breed and discipline groups.
New attractions this year include
- Wisconsin Future Farmers of America (FFA) State Horse Evaluation Career Development Event: On Friday, the top 25 FFA teams in Wisconsin will compete for a chance to advance to the National FFA Horse Evaluation CDE to be held at the National FFA Convention.
- Horse Career Exploration Forum: On Saturday from 1-3 p.m., attendees can learn information about various horse-related career paths and college opportunities.
- Rare, Critical and Endangered Breeds Showcase: This event will feature groups representing endangered, critical and rare horse breeds.

Tickets can be purchased at Blaine Farms and Fleet stores for $20 (for one day) or $45 (for three days). Children seven and under will receive complimentary admission.
