Surya Command Horse Riding Show Lucknow
Surya Command Horse Riding Show was held on 13th April, 2024 at Surya Sports Complex, Lucknow. Over 50 horses from the Army Service Corps and Remount Veterinary Corps (including their polo teams and ASC’s tent pegging and mule trick riding teams) participated in the demonstration. Bain, which was organized to promote horse riding sports.
The Surya Red Team comprising LT Col Yatinder Kumar (ASC), Risaldar Vijay Singh (RVC), Sowar Yellapa Hodi (RVC) and Sowar Abhay kumar panda (RVC) won the “Surya Polo Trophy” by 6-4 in a closely fought battle with surya blues.
Mule Trick Riding and acrobatic skills of the team was displayed by the riders of the ASC who exhibited commendable skills and the training standards. The event also included a breathtaking Show Jumping Skill Display and Six Bar Jumpings by riders from Remount Veterinary Corps in the Surya Khel Parishar.
The riders of RVC and ASC exhibited their skills in the tent pegging show and showed excellent coordination between the horses and the riders
